SInfoNiA — Strategic Information: New Directions and Applications was awarded an ERC Advanced Grant in 2024 and is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
SInfoNiA studies how information coordinates economic activity and shapes strategic interaction. It develops a theory of strategic types that describes information through its relevance to a given game, with applications to financial stability, robust economic predictions and social norms.
The research is organised into seven work packages:
